Gluten, Dairy, and Egg Free For You and Your Family

The Basics

February26

There is such a learning curve when you are changing to a restricted diet.  This page will help direct you to posts regarding some of the main information you will need and challenges you might face.

The most important part about changing your diet is to know that slip ups will happen.  Three months into our diet change, I realized that the cheese substitute I had been feeding my girls actually had casein in it.  I had read every label and poured over every item that I fed them.  How did that happen?  All that hard work and I still wasn’t succeeding.  I was so disheartened.  But don’t give up.  It can be hard but you can do it.  I am here to help you.  If there is something that you can’t find on the site, whether a conversion of your favorite recipe or how to make a certain change, email me or comment on a post.  I will do my best to help you get the information you need.  I want you to succeed and not feel alone as you try to make what can feel like the biggest dietary change of your life.

As I continue to post about how to change to a gluten, dairy, and egg free diet, I will compile all the posts here.  Sorry there is not much here yet but I am working on it, in between baking and cooking for my girls of course:)

Thank you so much for making this website! It is going to help me immensely in feeding my little guy. I can never think of creative gf, df, ef food, its always just some veggie chicken medley. :)

My name is Sarah Nap. This website is for all you moms like me that have found yourself dealing with food allergies.

I am homeschooling mama to four sweet blessings. We are what most people would call “granola.” We see a naturopath as our primary care physician and eat mostly organic foods. But enough about me, let me tell you a little bit about our journey to cooking free.
